“THE excellent Distant Worlds label brings us another atmospheric gem, this time from IDM/electro don Inkipak, whose releases on Ping-discs, Magnonic Signals and Mighty Force have quickly made him a name to watch. The cinematic synths of ‘Redshyft’ seem to soundtrack a launch into the far cosmos, while skittering drum machine beats and pulsating acid push the rhythm forwards; ‘Node’ is a hypnotic electro cut blanketed in ambient pads and more acid squelch; and ‘Recharge’ switches to breakbeats and rougher bleeps for a heads-down club moment.”
